Vesta

Vesta was in large part an industrial area, with train tracks weaving through it. In 1890, entrepreneur August Almqvist purchased an empty lot to establish a warehouse selling construction materials. He certainly entered the right business. The population of Gothenburg was in the midst of a 100-year-long population boom. Even after Almqvist passed on, the same warehouse continued to deal in construction materials up through the 1960s.
