Dymling

Unlike most other city blocks in Gårda where change was the only constant, Dymlingen’s buildings remained relatively the same from the initial wave of building in 1880 until the mass demolitions of the 1970s. One of the cornerstone factories here was the starch factory, whose star product was “Gårda Prima Gold Medal Rice Starch.” They had a run of well over 100 years until both Gårda and starch apparently passed out of fashion.
